    My Spanish isn't anywhere near good enough to translate this concept into a grammatically correct sentence, but I CAN tell you what I believe it means in English:

    "bicoastal" means pertaining to both coasts, i.e. Atlantic Ocean and Pacific coast. In case of the marriage, it means one of the two, bride and groom, lives on the East Coast, the other on the West coast. The marriage will be performed via telephone, or Internet, or other electronic transmission of sorts.

    I think I am going with this translation:

    "Y el estado emocional destrozado es compañero de muchos matrimonios que residen en ambas costas."
    What do you think? anybody with comments?
     
    Habría que dejarlo claro que uno de los componentes de la pareja vive en una costa mientras que el otro vive en la otra.

    En inglés es habitual acuñar palabras basadas en otras, así que esta ¨bicoastal¨se basa en ¨bisexual¨u otra parecida. ¿Por qué entonces no decir simplemente ¨bicostero¨? Y creo que debes incluir una traducción refiriéndose a ¨jet lag¨porque eso sugiere que uno, -a de ellos pasa mucho tiempo volando a la otra costa.
     
    Y no tiene que ver con ti etiqueta de ¨turismo.¨ Es más bien tema sociológico.
