"Özür dilerim! Bir süreliğine çıkmak zorundayım. Çantanızı bıraktığınız yerde duruyor."

Does the middle sentence mean "I have to go out for a while."?

çıkmak = to go out

My translation: I'm sorry! I have to go out for a while. Your purse remains in the place where you left it.

    Thank you, but why is "süreliğin" in the dative case? And is the original word "süreliğin" or "sürelik" + in + e?

    succintly, the word "süre" is "root" here. "-lik" is construction/derivation attachment/supplement and "-i" and "ne" are all declension supplement (shot attachment)
