Bird brain

There are quite a few insults/ colloquialisms in (American) English involving birds, comme bird brain, do-do, turkey, silly goose, etc.

Are any of these used in French?

Merci d'avance!

Insults are sometimes called "noms d'oiseaux" in french, even it's somehow old-fashioned.
We have "tête de linotte" evocating a scatterbrained, forgetful or light-headed person.
"Dinde" is also used a bit in the same way than silly goose.

I'm also thinking about "la poule d'un mec" the grilfriend of a guy ... but with a very negative connotation probably coming from the other expression "habillée comme une poule" dressed like a bitch ...

    Hi
"poule mouillée" is used to describe someone who lacks courage, a "scaredy cat" :D
