Hello,

I don't know how to read this sentence! Is it read like this, and means: there are still plenty birds in the sky, still plenty birds in the garden that turning green? Note that it is still winter, and it will be three or more months to Spring.

The birds pick at them{green strawberry} if they find them; there are still plenty birds in the sky, the garden, the gradual revelation of branches.
From Hotel World by Ali Smith.
Many thanks.

I think it means that there are still plenty of birds in three things:
    1. the sky
    2. the garden
    3. the branches, which are gradually revealing themselves as time progresses towards spring
This is only my interpretation, however, so I'd take it with a pinch of salt!
