blow something wide open

Help me, please?

"They've blown the bank wide open, and now some of them are in Medcraft's, and I guess they'll blow that up, too."

My attempt:

"Han hecho un gran agujero en el banco (con explosivos), y ahora algunos de ellos están en Medraft's, y supongo que lo volarán también."

Thanks in advance.

    Hi IL,
    There are a couple of spanish expressions which might help;
    Reventar la caja: literally, blow up the cash box/register
    Butrón: which is a method used by bank robbers, consisting of drilling holes in walls adjacent to safety deposits, or even by excavating from underneath. Le hicieron un butrón a la caja fuerte.
    Hope it helps

    Por qué no usar simplemente...

    volaron el banco

    Nota: Si "Medcraft's" se refiere al nombre de un lugar (por ejemplo una carcel), se debería usar el nombre sin la 's.
