Hello, my friends,

I was wondering what you refer to these students:

The school has boarding students and non-bodarding student.

Thoughts: Normally students go to boarding school then they live in the dorm but in china the school has students who live in the dorm and students who can go back home every day since their home is near the school.

    In Britain too.

In fact my school (unusually ???) had four categories.

Boarders - lived in the school all term.
Weekly boarders (rare) - went home at weekends.
Day boarders - stayed at school for tea and evening prep.
Day boys - went home at 4pm.

I think we called them day boys, too. The school called them day students. We had weekly boarders too.
