    Hello to all,

    Thanks for reading my post.

    Sample sentences:

    1. My friend Bob said to me earlier today: "I don't like cats.", and now and I'm telling my other friend Chris about what Bob said to me.

    2. My friend Bob said to me earlier today: "I don't like cats.", and now and I'm telling my other friend Chris about what Bob told me.

    3. My friend Bob told me earlier today that he didn't like cats, and now and I'm telling my other friend Chris about what Bob said to me.

    4. My friend Bob told me earlier today that he didn't like cats, and now and I'm telling my other friend Chris about what Bob told me.

    Question:

Do the combinations of verbs in bold work in the sample sentences?

Thanks a lot for any comments, corrections or suggestions!

    Regards,
    JJXR

The verbs in bold are ok, but all the sentences are ungrammatical and have punctuation errors.
