French to English body

Dictionary entry: body
  • Bodysuit, yes, for the kind with snaps at the crotch intended for regular wear with pants (trousers) or skirts; leotard for dancers and gymnasts. NOT body (tout court), at least not in US E.
    Vêtement: body

Those are more likely to be called 'body' tout court over on our side of the pond - bodysuit to me is more suggestive of a onesie. However, a quick bit of very scientific research (I looked at some online clothes shops) tells me that 'bodysuit' is possible in the UK too. Anyway, bodysuit added and 'body' given a Dsense of UK and 'women's clothing' (because we wouldn't use just 'body' for babysuits or anything that also has built in trousers).
