Hi everyone,
How would you guys translate that?

"So, otherwise : ..." is what comes to my mind but it feels weird, doesn't it?

    Thanks for your replies!

Context: Someone is telling about his day in his diary, then he suddenly changes the subject to give updates about a friend of his.

    Hi Oliveb,

From the context you're describing the french expression "et sinon" to change subject could maybe be translated by something like : "On a different/another note", or "On a side note" or maybe "Switching gears" or "Anyway!" I'm not sure about this let's wait for natives, maybe they'll have other suggestions!

in this context it seems to me "Bon, et sinon : ..." would be a pretty good translation for Monty Python's famous "OK and now for something completely different"(= sans transition)
