bone-numbing

Hi

I was wondering if there would be a possible adjective for 'bone-numbing' work. Or would it be best to say 'qui engourdi les os'? thank you.

Ok an equivalent expression would be "qui glace les os" (like in bone-numbing cold) if it fits in your context.

First of all, thak you for your suggestions everyone. One last check, if I was to translate it as "Un travail parfois accablant, parfois ereintant et d'autre fois écrasant", would the word 'ereintant' sound relevant to the sentence.
    Thank you for your time.
