bonne soirée en perspective

    Yeah, I saw "in prospect", but that doesn't really seem idiomatic.
    I had to write a letter and the guy was saying what he was gonna do the coming evening, and I just wanted to finish, like a conclusion, with "bonne soirée en perspective !". "Nice evening in prospect" seems weird, doesn't it ?

    I like the second one with forward, unfortunately it's not really the way I wanted to say it...

    Well, if it's for an English teacher, it might be better to say "I've got..." (The Blackeyed Peas would never sing that way, but it doing so makes no change in the song's rhythm.)
