There were two moons again that night, both two days past full.
(Murakami, Haruki. 1Q84. Trans. Jay Rubin & Philip Gabriel.)

Does both two days past full mean that the moon was full for the past two days? Is this the most common order?

To you and me, the moon looks full for several nights. But strictly, it is only full on one particular night, then the next night it is 'one day past full', and so on. (Or I suppose 'one night past full'.)
