    I am sorry, I should have told you before.

    My essay dealt with pros and cons of advertisement. I wrote about the information they give you as well as the creative inherent in them, and on the other hand the nuisance caused by their pervasive spread and by the exploitation of feelings and dreams. I ended up saying consumers should not be considered (Pavlov's) dogs.

    Is it the dog thing, isn't it?
    What a brilliant comment then.

    I agree with Tim - I would interpret it as a self-depricating comment that your professor is like a Pavlovian dog when it comes to consumer habits ...
