Anyone who has a good suggestion to how to translate "bragging rights" in to French?

Here's the phrase:
Awards will accompany the bragging rights that go with knocking him out.

In the meantime I've found a solution - I didn't look hard enough at the meaning of the phrase so I couldn't find my way to the answar.

Here's what I've managed to pull together:

En sus des prix, le gagnant peut se vanter du fait d'avoir gagné sur lui.

Bragging rights = le droit de se vanter

Right, you turned your sentence the other way round... Sound goods now....

However, d'avoir gagné sur lui.... is not French

de l'avoir vaincu or de l'avoir mis K-O.... is!

    :)

Sans parler du fait qu'en Français de telles répétitions "gagnant...gagner" sont à proscrire absolument.:)

Sinon je propose "fanfaronnades" pour "bragging rights" mais je ne suis pas sûre que cela traduise l'idée que c'est son dû qui semble impliquée par "rights"...
