When I say bread and butter should I use is or are after them?
Bread and butter is or are delicious.
Tea and coffee is or are great.

    If you're referring to bread and butter as two separate things, you need "are".
    If you mean bread which has butter spread on it, then you need "is".
    "Bread and butter is delicious with a banana."
    "Food prices are going up all the time, for example bread and butter are now 20% more expensive than last year."

    Tea and coffee would be "are" - they are separate things, you don't drink them together.
