Travellers return again and again to revel in the breathless/breathtaking scenery both in winter for unparalled skiing oppotunities and in summer for the sparkling lakes and spectacular walks.

Breathtakig is the writte adjt.? Can i use the both- have them the same meaning?

thanks

"breathless" is usually an effect on someone. Wow, that rollercoaster ride left me "breathless." But, breathtaking could be used to describe how someone looks. Usually, breathless is the effect of something that is breathtaking.
