I'd like to know if there is a french equivalent of the English phrase, "breaking the fourth wall". If anybody know, please let me know, too.

    Welcome, angel_dragontamer! :)

This native English speaker, for one, doesn't know the expression "breaking the fouth wall."
Could you please provide a definition, or use the expression in a full sentence for context? This would help us to find a translation. ;)

As the Wiki article refers to Brecht, I think it's part of his method which is called, as a whole, "distanciation". They describe several ways of achieving it, for instance to address the audience directly.

"Supprimer le quatrième mur" is what was given as the translation in the Wiki article referenced.
