When you recieved a call from your friend you haven't heard from for a long time.

I breathed a sigh of relief in the moment when I received a call from a friend I haven’t heard from for a long time.

I feel relieved when when I received a call from a friend I haven’t heard from for a long time.

Which is more correct?

Thanks a lot!

Why would you feel relieved after such a call? Were you afraid your friend might be dead?
    Thank you.
Yes. This sentense is on my textbook as a writing question. I suppose this man’s soul mate had suddenly gone for more than 10 years. And after the long miss, that happened to him.
And i’m still wondering the answer.
