hola. quisiera saber que significa buzz en el siguiente contexto:

If you have a blog right now, congratulations, you're ahead of the game. If you don't, no worries - they're a cinch to set up. But more importantly, they are the perfect medium for strong-selling authors to build buzz, attract a buying audience and, if you play your cards right, network your way into relationships that can give your ebook incredible amounts of exposure.

Considerando el contexto, Build buzz se refiere a "generar expectación".

    Saludos!

DanySpike's translation sounds good to me. Buzz= hype, in this case. It means to build/generate/create hype or excitement. To create interest in something.

It is somewhat informal and slang, but it is fairly common to hear or read things such as "We want to build a buzz around/amongst (a place)" or "We want to build a buzz about (something).

    Hi,

I know it's late but I've also seen this as "crear expectativas (y despertar rivalidades).
