bulle de bien naitre

Hi,

I'm translating the abstract of a thesis written by a midwife. It's about the organisation of the delivery room in a hospital.

I'm struggling with the title: "Une bulle de bien naitre", which is a play on the expression "bien-être".

Any idea?

Thanks!

C'est peut être aussi une référence à 'la poche des eaux' qui ressemble à une bulle et se trouve dans le placenta et qui, quand elle se rompt, déclenche l'accouchement......

Mais on coince toujours sur sur la traduction.....

Having spoken with the author, the meaning is quite clear: it's a close area in which a mother-to-be feels comfortable. Here, "bulle" could be replaced by "cocon", as Itisi said.
So the difficulty I have is with "bien naitre", which sounds exactly like "bien-être".
You would say "une bulle de bien-être" in a place where you feel very relaxed, like a spa for example.

    Hope it helps.

    Maternity oasis ?
The traditional name for the hospital department in US E is maternity ward. Edit -- actually, womb might work with that.
