360: Switched at Birth - This American Life

Jake Halpern
This brings us to Marti, the other baby in this baby switch. Before she found out the truth about who her mother really was, Marti's life wasn't all that different from Sue's and Marti was also married, also had three kids. She'd also moved out of Wisconsin-- in her case, to Southern California. She's also religious like Sue but that's pretty much where it ends.

Q: Could you paraphrase? Thanks in advance!

This is a way to say that the similarities between Marti and Sue end with the things that are mentioned in the paragraph. There are apparently some significant differences between their lives that Halpern has not mentioned yet.

Thanks for your answer but it still hard to understand for me.

Could you paraphrase this following part please? Or the original text please.
Marti and Sue end with the things that are mentioned in the paragraph.

Q: What does that 'it' indicate in here?

    Thanks in advance!

They don't have any other similarities beyond the ones that were mentioned in the paragraph. Presumably, Halpern will begin to discuss some of the differences between their lives.

Oh, so, 'that' and 'it' refers 'similarities...right? Thanks for your patient and kind! ❤
