Hello everyone!
Could you tell me, please, how English native speakery say , when you are going to have breakfast, there are butter, bread and a knife. And You want to ask for someone,that she or he spread butter on bread and give it to you.
1.Darling, put some butter on bread,please.
2. Darling, butter bread,please.
3.Darling,spread butter on bread
4.Darling, get somw butter on bread

    Darling, could you butter me some bread, please?
    You've got two hands! Why can't you butter it yourself, sweetheart?!!! ;):D

    No. A butter sandwich would be two slices of buttered bread with more butter between them.

    Imagine replacing the ham and salad in this sandwich with a lump of butter:
