buy on margin
Which is the best way to say that in this sentence? "As their wharehouse coffee commanded higher and higher paper prices, [the coffee magnates] used it as collateral for ever higher loans, just as US investors bought on margin" I found "margin buying" = acquisto di titoli con deposito di garanzia. Would it be ok? Or maybe I should go for something simpler and more generic... like "acquistavano a margine" because it's used....as well
