Voici la phrase qui me pose problème :
All units can be used as speed increasers, by inputting on the output side of the gearbox, however it is important to check that the unit can handle the power and speed.

Je ne comprends pas ce qui est introduit du côté sortie de la boît d'engrenage. J'ai l'impression qu'il manque un mot. Pouvez-vous me dire ce que vous en pensez ?

    Because that's what a gearbox does. It's a device for taking one rotary movement (= input) and turning it into a different one - faster, slower, reversed, etc. (= output). Usually on a car, input = fast and weak, output = slower and more powerful.
