I will go to hunting the deers this weekend. If I can catch any deers is all "by luck" or "by fortune" or "leaving to the chance".

Are they all correct and the same? If so, which one is the best? Thank you.

I would say something like "I'm going deer-hunting this weekend. Whether I'll be able to shoot a deer is a matter of chance / luck."

Thank you The Newt. As far as I understand, the difference between “by chance” and “by luck” is that “by luck” is a bit of superstition. Am I right?
