Hello, Forum!

Someone just wrote to me "By my quest".

Can you tell me what it means? Could it be a typo for 'be my guest', or is there such an expression?

Thanks

The best thing to do would be to ask the person who wrote it to you. I've never heard it before. We would have to know the context in the conversation to let you know if "be my guest" made sense in that context.

    LOL OK. Sorry about that.

A: It takes a lot more than that to keep up with me.
B: I know, you make so many mistakes. I have to pick and choose.
    A: By my quest.
B: ? (another mistake to correct?)

I agree with you and JamesM: "be my guest" fits the conversation perfectly, and I cannot think of any other phrase that sounds similar.
