Hi everyone,

(C1 here refers to a rank in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.)

Would you say a C1 level language certificate or a level C1 language certificate?

Thanks.

I'd probably say a 'level C1 language qualification', just because I tend to read 'level language' not 'C1 level' and because the word 'level' introduces the finer detail 'C1', whereas if I see 'C1' first, I wonder what a 'C1' is. Both versions seem to be used.
