Still for my students back from their work placement :

Cahier de caisse : accountancy (a book in which you register the amount of cash you get or give)

Is there a specific word ?
    Thanks.

Not long ago I did a bookkeeping (not accountancy) course. The teacher (who was young and very beautiful, not that that's important) gave us the term "cash book", which she defined as the book in which you record money coming in from customers and going out to suppliers. Does that help?
