Please help me explain. I don't know what this sentence means.
"I raced home and called the teenager down the street that baby-sat for people."

    The verb is called.
    Down belongs with the prepositional phrase - down the street.

    There is a potentially missing agent, that being "who is," which is the subject of the subordinate clause.
