Could anyone please help me with the translation of “camp de détention de police allemand” here ?

“Frontstalag 122, qui devient par un décret du 30 décembre 1941 un "camp de détention de police allemand"”

II have done searches and they return the phrase “German police detention camp” but I’m not sure that this is the correct sense of the phrase.

Thanks for any help

Weird - The French "camp de détention de police" means nothing, and looks like a word-for-word translation from another language.
And police detention, to me, is synonymous with police custody = "garde à vue"?...

    Bonjour,

je pense que c'est la traduction littérale du texte de loi allemand de 1941. C'est en fait dans l'absolu " un camp de concentration".

    Bon courage

Thanks for all your help. What confuses me is that "allemand" does not agree with "police" but rather with "camp". And does it mean "police" or "policy"?
