Can I share my story with you? / Go for it!

Hi!

In a forum/email conversation another user asked me:
"I'm going through a personal crisis do you mind if I can share my story with you?"

I understand his request and want to say that: he, of course, can tell me his story.
Can anyone please tell me, if it would sound appropriate to respond:

"Go for it!"

This is what my dictionary suggests. But it sounds somehow peculiar to me, as if I would cheer (encourage) him to do physical exercises or so.
So, should I say "Go for it!" or is there a better phrase for “Of course, tell me your story”?

Many thanks!

Certainly, feel free to tell me whatever you want.
Of course, I'll be glad to listen.
Oh, I don't mind at all. I hope I can be of help.
