Hello,

Yesterday dawn until the daybreak this morning (Thursday, October 16, 2008) was a festival.

Could you please tell me whether I can use the underlined phrase or part of it as a subject?

I hope to hear from you soon.

Thank you.

With best wishes.

I wouldn't use it like that. Maybe "From Dawn to Dawn"? I can't think of a better alternative at the moment.

You typically don't hear 'from dawn to dawn'. I also would rearrange the sentence.

"There was a festival from dawn yesterday until daybreak this morning (Thursday, October 16, 2008)."
