Hi all, when referring specifically to the stock market in USA, the one in UK, the one in China, and others, can I use the plural "the stock markets" to refer to them?

I tried to find the answer from Google, and apparently, it's either "the stock market" or "stock markets". I can't find examples of "the stock markets".

    Many thanks!

    Hello,

It will depend on precisely what you want to say. Do you have a sentence in mind?

The stock markets have been very unstable over the past several weeks. :)
