Cantonese: 咗

Does Cantonese also have equivalents of 了 and 过 in speech or does 咗 always replace both?
（For example, in Mandarin: 甲：你吃饭了没有？乙：我吃过了）

I am not sure what force 過 has here in Mandarin, but this particle is used in Cantonese:

你食過榴槤未? 我未食過榴槤.
Have you ever eaten durian? I have never eaten durian.
