The one existing thread is with reference to raising a child as a guardian. What about a caregiver in a medical context, someone who provides medical care to an elderly and/or ill person? Such a caregiver is not necessarily a trained nurse or similar professional. Mr. Webb is no longer able to take care of himself and his niece has been the primary caregiver since 2008. Did I understand correctly that caregiver has sneaked into the Italian language and is not always translated?
