Hi everybody,

How would you translate "un carrefour d'échange" ? An exchange intersection ? Is there a specific word for that ?

Thank you ! :confused:

    carrefour = crossroads

    I'd say "a central meeting place", I don't know if an idiom exists.

    Ok ! More context then !

    It's more intellectual than practical (?). Someone is making a trip round the world and he sees his journey as a "carrefour d'échange de connaissances et de savoir faire".

    Does that help ? :eek:

    Bonjour,

    I would say the person is at a personal crossroads in his life and is embarking on the journey in order to clear his mind and make changes on his return.

    Just my view.
    Salut!
