Connect the supplied flexible antenna to the antenna connector.
Caution:
Never carry the transceiver by holding only the antenna.

Actually i cannot understand the meaning of "carry the transceiver by holding only the antenna".( These are some instructions on the usage of HF radios.

It's difficult to know the source of your difficulty.

The antenna extends out from the transceiver, and you might be tempted to grab it and carry the transceiver that way, as though it was a handle. The instructions warn you not to do this. Maybe the antenna could break off, or be damaged in some other way.

With only a very slight change of meaning, the above could be rephrased as:

"Never hold only the antenna when you are carrying the transceiver."
