Volevo chiedere se l'espressione "cast in brick and asphalt" sia l'equivalente in italiano di "mettere in soffitta". Ecco dove ho trovato l'espressione: "But because the pricing errors of the past have been cast in brick and asphalt, such policies are very expensive and have limited effectiveness".

Credo che abbia più il senso di essere state "insabbiate" per convenienza... che messe in soffitta perché inutili
