catch up on missed homework

Let's say that I was sick for a week so I did not attend classes because I was at home. After a week I return to school and I have to ... homework and everything else that was done in class during the week of my absence.

I think I can say "to catch up on missed learning", but can I also say "to catch up on missed homework assignments" or is there any other word that you can suggest in order to express "to hand in homework later"?

Thanks for your help!

In general I would describe all of that as catching up. Some things you might have to make up, like tests. Other things like homework assignments you might just be allowed to turn in late.
