Ciao a tutti,
come traduco 'cathoid mesh system'?
Nel mio testo si parla della statua del Cristo Redentore di Rio de Janeiro e a un certo punto si dice:
"workers gave the Redeemer an electric force field. The statue was fitted with a cathoid mesh system"

Come traduco questa espressione?

Transcripts like this are often mistaken... I believe that it should be "cathode mesh system." (sistema di maglie catodo)

Anche per me "cathoid" é un refuso, probabilmente per cathodic (rete catodica).
