- How certain were you you were right?
- A 100 percent.
- Why?
- 'Cause I just was.

(From an Interview with Jill Price)

Would you be so kind as to tell me whether it is possible to take it as either '''Cause I just was right" or "'Cause I just was certain'?

Thanks.

I would take it as 'Cause I just was certain', but it is possible to take it either way -- and I don't see much practical difference between those interpretations.

There's no reason to select one part of the idea of being [certain I was right].
    (I was) a 100% (certain I was right).
I just was (100% certain that I was right).
