Diana- Sorry to be so slow, but I have just spent an hour looking for a Spanish language printing glossary, with nothing worthwhile to report. Así que te cuento lo poco que sé de este asunto.
Primero- no es tampografía--that is something like rubber stamp printing
Segundo- Some printers in España advertise "Stamping"
Tercero- Most references to Troquelado are for metal stamping and cutting, not printing 'en relieve'
In English, embossing requires both a stamp and a mold. The stamp presses the paper into the mold, thus creating the raised, or embossed, result. One is concave, the other convex.
If you also use mylar-backed film, you can add metalic or colored texture to the embossing. This is called 'foil stamping'.
