I'm having a problem with this saying. Could someone clue me in?
Ce n'est pas la mer a boire.

    Generally, it means "It's not a big deal" (it's not like you are going to have to drink the ocean), but if you have more context we may be able to refine it.

    I would say a literal translation would be more like "It's not as hard as drinking the ocean". In other words, "It's not that hard / difficult".
