    Hello SwissPete.

    Perhaps something like-
She has been dreaming for less than two years?

Preceding this sentence was a sentence saying that she was very happy to
have been given an umbrella by her mother. If my attempted translation is correct,
maybe she had been dreaming for the umbrella?

Thanks very much for your help!

Thanks very much ce que est est.
    That make more sense.
It seems that the 'of it' in the sentence is inferred?
Is this common in French sentences?
