Well park, Google is a fair-weather friend. Look here.
Now, although "Colored pencil" makes me think of the pencil itself, the outside of the wood painted in different colors, I have to yield to ARocket8 who is closer in age to school than I am.

Google or Froogle? Ok, I'll yield the floor to him too. ''Colored pencils'' is what I've always heard.

    Peace out.

Park, it´s difficult for me to quit also. Froogle is Google´s price engine. One directs you to the other. OK. now a colored pencil is a pencil painted in a distinct color. I have a color TV. It´s grey in color, the pictures I get are in color. I´m not going to make a Federal case out of this, but both terms (it seems) are correct.

No federal case needed. I know what Froogle is and also, surprisingly, I know how Google works.

And for me, it's no surprise that when you type ''color pencils'' in Google the first responses are ''colored pencils''. The reason...the sellers of these products know what words people search for. I said ''better'', not doesn't exist, just as the suppliers of the products believe.

    Hasta la proxima.
