I'm trying to translate a piece on the Dossale d'argento di S.Jacapo, Pistoia, and I was wondering if anyone could help me with the english alternative to the phrase "ceseilate da".

The sentence that it's in is: "Rivestito da formelle ceseilate da..."

I understand from this - Covered in tiles ......... from...

Any help would be really appreciated :)
