    Welcome to WR, lolypops.

We are asked to make our own attempt first. What do you think it should be?
    It's a nice question for a Friday evening :)

I THINK IT COULD BE SOMETHING LIKE :
beer should be enjoyed chilled to reveal its bounty
but it doesn't sound like good english but rather like word to word translation
    don't you think?

I think that's pretty good, for a start.

Retaining something of the structure, I was going to suggest It is (when) chilled that beer reveals its generosity.

I wasn't happy with "generosity" either, as applying to a drink. "Bounty" sounds a little strange, too - even though that's the translation provided by the WR dictionary. I'm sure you'll get some better suggestions!

Edit: The "enjoyed" part is missing from your original sentence, but it does make sense in your translation...

    Peut-être
Beer is at its best when served chilled.

On beer bottles here it always says:
    Best served chilled

On ne peut pas utiliser le mot generosity avec la bière

EDIT: Beer is most enjoyable when served chilled
    or
    Beer is best enjoyed chilled
