Hi,

"C'est un homme dont on connait les qualites", said by a recruiter before a job interview about the future interviewed man.

Would you say:

He is a man whose qualities we know. (my try)
He is a man which qualities we know.
He is a man of which we know the qualities.
He is a man which we know the qualities of.

Which of them are correct? Which one would be the best for you?

Thanks,
Martin

Yes, it also works with objects. "a car whose qualities are known" is fine. (The alternative - "a car, the qualities of which are known" - is unnatural.)
