challenge spirit VS go-for-it spirit

< Previous | Next >

Let's say that you really want to achieve something. You know it's not going to be easy and there will be a lot of obstacles going forward but you decide to try anyway.

What would you call this kind of attitude, the challenge spirit or go-for-it spirit? Or is there any other way to put it?

The "go-for-it spirit" would work informally in the right context but I wouldn't use it in formal writing.

For some reason "spirit of challenge" sounds better to me than "challenge spirit".
