Charms, spells, etc.

Does anyone know Latin, or some Old Latin? I'm writing a book that is somewhat like Harry Potter, is has carms and spells and stuff like that in it, and I want them to be latin. If you think you can help me, please send me a message or something. Thanks.

    Latin is an old language (we call it a dead language), although it was still used by, for instance, the church till last century.
    So there is not Latin, and old Latin, but just Latin.
    I am Italian and I studied it at school, ages ago ;). I do not remember it perfectly, but if what you want is not too difficult, I might be able to help you.

    I might help too.....it isn't illegal to use the spells that Jk Rowling made since those are in Latin, is it? Of course, you probally wanted different spells...
     
    Yes, I'd want different spells. And I think she does have a lot of the things trademarked or copy-righted, because I heard that they aren't all complete latin, but based on latin. Thank you very much for deciding to help me, but I decided that since she already used latin in her books, I should try to be different so I'm using french, and/or italian. lol. That way I can just use a translator as well. Thank you so much though for offering your help. :)
